During the interview with Yeonhee Park, director of ICLEI KO on May 23rd, Braulio Ferreira de Souza Dias, the Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity, emphasized the role of local governments for the convention of biodiversity, and supported the Biodiversity Summit for Cities & Subnational Governments 2014, which will be held on forthcoming October of 2014.
